Iceland has been on my bucket list for years. This June I finally had the chance to experience the country. It was rainy, windy, rugged and stunning. A truly unique landscape and experience. Definitely recommended for outdoor enthusiasts!
Winter has been gorgeous thus far. It doesn’t seem like winter yet though the ski hills are open! Just outside Banff National Park is Bow Valley Provincial Park. Went for a trip with a group of current and prior SAIT photography students on a field trip this past weekend. Here are a few shots.
With the massive solar flare end of March I set out trying to glimpse the aurora from this far south. It wasn’t very strong and didn’t dance that much but it was still an interesting sight to see. Check out the couple shots I got below from that night of the aurora and the sky.
This trip was solely for aurora hunting… unfortunately, it was cloudy every night. However, on the plane home, the aurora finally showed. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but got a few shots nonetheless. Going to consider this one only partially off the bucket list!
